In February 2023, Ukraine lost its domestic sources of salt production, becoming fully dependent on imports. The imported salt proved unstable in quality and unpredictable in composition — creating serious risks for food and technical manufacturers and leaving consumers without access to safe, reliable, locally produced salt.
To change this, Ukrainian engineers, technologists, and entrepreneurs joined forces. Inspired by the best European practices (Germany, Spain, France) and strengthened by our own engineering solutions in automation and quality control, we built something entirely new.
This is how the “Salt UA” brand was born — Ukraine’s first high-tech enterprise specializing in deep purification and adaptation of salt to international standards.
